Information for New Patients

Initial Visit

Your first couple of sessions will be devoted to a sensitive and confidential discussion of your concerns. In this session I will talk with you about the therapy process and treatment plan. I will advise you of costs for the services, and obtain your written informed consent before proceeding.

Professional Fees

As my rates are occasionally adjusted, please call me to discuss my current fee. If you are seeking intensive treatment (3 or more times a week) a reduced fee may be possible based on income and ability to pay.

Insurance

If you carry health insurance, I will provide you with a statement of services which I ask you to submit to your insurance company on your own to seek reimbursement. Along with many other qualified professionals, I have elected not to join any health insurance panels. Some of the reasons include wanting to maintain your right to privacy and to remain as free as possible from outside restriction that may interfere with our work.
